ION Salon - The Hetero Threesome

Leonardo and Marco from our BFF agency CommunityNYC recently opened an eco-friendly salon in SoHo called ION at 41 Wooster Street. The salon was featured a few weeks back in THE DAILY CANDY with a great write-up that - besides talking up the great hairstyling and service - kept talking about how hot and straight the talent is.

A Stroke of Genius

In the April edition of British VOGUE, Anna-Marie Solowij exposes what she calls "the new creative order" in the art of makeup.






Solowij explains that the new look is a true movement, dug up from the streets, with elements of the art world, the fusion of fashion + music, and all things abstract and avant-garde.



























For the article, with photographs by Paolo Roversi, makeup artist Lisa Butler (with Neil Moodie styling hair) created the look to capture the feeling of the piece, and Solowij goes on to describe Lisa as "an expert in challenging our perceptions of what is normal."
