A Day in the Life

Style.com runs a frequent series in their style blog called "A Day in the Life" where they profile popular faces in fashion, beauty, and style.

During the height of show week in Milan, Neil Moodie shared what a normal day is like for a hair stylist that typically works 10-12 shows every season.

I'm surprised he even had the time to write it all down, given the ATM ate his bank card on Sunday morning, the models all showed up late, someone's heel snapped off, and WHO THE HELL IS DOING MAKEUP!!?!?!?!

All in a day's work, I guess....

The House that Bumble Built

When it comes to hair, no one plays with innovation and imagination better than Bumble and bumble. But don't be fooled, the House of Bumble is more than just a pretty head of hair.

Bumble and Fashion Week have been together for nearly 20 years now, and Bumble Session Stylist, Laurent Philippon, has been along for much of the ride.

Besides being a backstage staple at Bumble shows and events for over 17 years, the definitively cool Laurent (he calls New York and Paris home) is featured in the 6th issue of Bumble's in-house publication, Hair Stories.

In this issue, dedicated to all things Fashion Week, Hair Stories captures the feeling backstage at the shows from 2 weeks, 2 days, 2 hours, and 2 minutes to show time.

And who better to ask then Bumble's unstoppable Fashion Week force, not to mention our own continent-hopping artist in residence, Laurent Philippon:

Click on the pages for the full-sized interview, and let Laurent share some of his runway "war stories" with you!
